Hello!
My name is Judyta Paredis and I'm a Polish-Belgian self-taught illustrator based in Brussels.
As far as I can remember, I have been drawing during my free time, and on every available surface. As a student, I had focused on social sciences, and obtained the master degree in politics and international relations, but I never stopped to draw and paint.
Some time ago, I struggled with health issues, and my sketching routine became a crucial part of my recovery process. From that time on, I decided to turn my passion into a profession, and dedicate my career to illustrations.
I got a diploma in graphic design, and attended drawing and mix media courses in Brussels` ateliers to expand my knowledge of the creative techniques and illustration.
the creative process became my daily routine and I do take my sketchbook with me everywhere. As a result, my illustrations are based on my observation of the people and animals I meet, and the simplicity of everyday life.
I use mix media to create a colourful world that brings joy to children and adults. My favourite illustration topics are daily routine, mental health, animals and plants.
Most of my illustrations are vivid and child-friendly but I am also not afraid to tackle difficult topics. I like to convey emotions that we all encounter every day and present it in a creative way that is easy to understand and accept by people of all ages.
To get some insight into my artwork, you can explore this website or my social media. Feel free to contact me, and provide with your feedback. I look forward to hearing your thoughts about my work, and perhaps share ideas for future collaboration.
